Our family of four greatly enjoyed the trip! The boys caught several striped bass, the first of which was pulled in just minutes after putting the line in the water. This fish was large! Captain John and Chase were so encouraging and knowledgeable.

"I booked this trip for my son’s 30th birthday, and it was an experience we’ll never forget! During our 4-hour trip, we caught 9 fish—and even had a few more that got away when they snapped the line. The highlight of the day? My son caught a shark! As soon as the hook snagged it, the shark leaped out of the water—everyone saw it except me, including the captain and crew! I started recording right after, SMH. While I missed the big jump, I captured something even better—the excitement in my son’s voice as he reeled it in! This is a story we’ll be telling for years to come. Thank you, Grey Dolphin, for an incredible day on the water!"

We set out early in the morning, the sun just beginning to rise, casting a golden glow across the water. The anticipation was already building as we navigated out to our fishing spot, but nothing could have prepared me for what was to come. After a few hours of catching some smaller fish, I felt a strong tug on my line—much stronger than anything else that day. My heart started pounding as I struggled to reel it in. After a good fight, I finally caught sight of my catch—a small shark! It was such an incredible surprise and a truly unforgettable moment. The Mate was fantastic, guiding me through the process with expertise and ensuring both my safety and that of the shark. After a quick photo and a closer look, we released it back into the ocean, watching as it swam away into the deep blue. This trip was the perfect mix of action and discovery, with the added bonus of encountering such an amazing creature up close. I can't recommend this fishing trip enough—it’s a must for any avid angler! I'll definitely be back for more.

This was our second time on this boat with the captain and crew, and once again, they did not disappoint! They made sure we caught fish and were incredibly knowledgeable about everything. Their expertise and dedication made the trip enjoyable from start to finish. We’ll definitely be back!

We have been vacationing on the Cape for over 30 years and have gone on a lot of fishing charters in that time. Captain John and the Grey Dolphin has been the best. This is the second year we booked with him and will only book with him in the future. He is courteous and responsive and works hard to get you the fish you're after. We were after Stripers this year and our family group of 6 pulled in 25 Stripers! We limited out with 6 keepers! We had one beginner fisher with us. Captain John and Mate Casey paid close attention to her to make sure she was set up for success, and of course she was. Thanks for a great time, Captain John and Casey!

This is our fourth year with Captain John. We started out slow today at low tide, but Captain John kept trying new areas and methods. In about an hour we started getting hits and our group of four caught five nice stripers. Four were keepers. A great trip.
